The Tap Room

This room is the site of the original tavern. The Tap Room is the Club's most popular gathering place known for its warmth and informality. The Tap Room is exclusively reserved for member dining only and cannot be used for private events.

The Tap Room requires collared shirt and slacks for men and similar attire for women.

5 p.m. - 9 p.m.*
(Wed & Thu)

5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
(Fri & Sat)

*If you care to dine past 9 p.m. on Wednesday or Thursday, please call and make a reservation and we would be happy to accommodate your request. On nights when there are membership events, the Tap Room will remain open until 10 p.m.

The Long Room

The Long Room

On June 6, 1800, President John Adams made his famous toast in this room. It offers a magnificent formal setting with views of M street below. Dining is available in the Long Room for dinner Wednesday-Saturday nights unless a private event is scheduled.

The Long Room requires a jacket and tie for men and similar attire for women.

*Long Room will be open for dinner when private events are not being held in that space. Please call or email ahead if you wish to dine in the Long Room.

The Terrace

The Terrace

A rare and elegant space in Georgetown, the Terrace is located on our second floor, adjoining the Bliss Room. The Terrace is a popular place to dine during the warmer months, and is a great option for a relaxing dinner or a tasty drink with a cigar. Please note that the Terrace can be rented out by members for private events, so please call ahead to check availability.
